After growing up between the family cotton and wheat station in Collarenabri, NW NSW and the family boutique thoroughbred breeding and training facility on the northern NSW coast, Emma has always had a passion for both the land and for her horses.
To get a better feel for her study Emma decided to study externally for the last two years of her degree, working as a broodmare assistant and then as a vet nurse on thoroughbred studs in the Hunter Valley of NSW. She graduated in 2012 with a Degree of Animal Science majoring in Equine.
A move to Queensland to start a family soon put the Equine career on hold, and after working in banking for a couple of years, Emma made the move to Real Estate.
Starting off in Meandarra and then making the move up to Moura, Emma and her family decided to settle in Chinchilla, buying a house and acreage outside of town where they have now been living for just on three years.
Emma spends her spare time travelling around the country side for Campdrafts and stays involved in the community through the Chinchilla Campdraft Committee and through school events. Emma and her family are heavily involved in the livestock industry and have extensive knowledge of animal production and rural lifestyle.
Emma is now the sales and Marketing Administrator at Elders Chinchilla and Miles and will be developing her career into a Sales Associate role in the near future. Emma currently organises all our sales marketing and advertising, along with managing our websites.
